Human touch

No one wants to live alone
Who wants to smile, laugh, or cry alone
Have we lost the touch that means so much
Have we lost the human touch

From Human Touch, performed by Nina Simone

I am a very tactile person and I know I touch people without thinking much about it. Just touching an arm or resting a shoulder. It’s not until I meet someone who isn’t tactile that I realise how much I do it just naturally.

Not only do I find connection in touch but I’m very conscious of how things feel against my skin, I always choose clothes for fabric before anything else.  It need to feel soft and good against my skin.
