My favourite place to be is sitting on my Queen size bed right next to the window that faces out into the street. I love having the breeze flow in over my skin as I watch the sky change.

Since the first lockdown last year this spot has grown on me. Shaded by trees I can watch the world go by completely unnoticed by passers-by.

We can go out again, visit friends and all sorts of places. I’m easing in to it, or so I keep telling myself. Maybe I’ve enjoyed alone time too much.

Tonight I’m enjoying thunder rolling over the sky while I sit safe in my favourite spot. The rain has yet to start and the cold damp air feels cool and wonderful.

It was a warm and perfect day, being able to watch the heavy clouds and wait for the rain to fall, the ideal way to spend an evening alone.
